Message: JUNE 24 - JULY 3 - This musical is a charming story of hope and dreams that takes place “deep in the land of the hollows and creeks” of central Kentucky. The story is full of Appalachian and Bluegrass inspired music and is based on actual events of the media frenzy that occurred in 1925 when a Kentucky cave explorer became trapped underground. The critically acclaimed musical was written by Adam Guettel, grandson of Richard Rodgers (of Rodgers and Hammerstein).
