Subject: Northern Bobwhite Quail Release at Bernheim

Message: AUGUST 2 - In 2009, Bernheim began raising and releasing northern bobwhite quail in restored habitats throughout Bernheim’s research forest and arboretum. Bobwhite quail are now often heard at Bernheim and the surrounding area. Raised-from-egg quail, first open-air flight at 10:30 a.m. Follow the “Quail Release” signage and gather in the parking lot at the Education Center and be prepared for a short walk to the release site.
