Subject: Civil War Reenactment

Message: July 30 – There will be a living history event at Old Bardstown Village. Participants will recreate the Union Encampment in Bardstown circa 1862. The Kentucky Homeguard Band will play at 2 p.m. The Homeguard Band is a historical re-enactment group depicting a typical garrison band of the Union Army stationed in Kentucky during the war. 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Admission $5 adults, $3 children 6 years and older, under 6 free.
