Subject: WWII Living History Day at Old Bardstown Village

Message: Old Bardstown Village will host the 29th Infantry Division Living History Group on Saturday, November 10th, 2018 in honor of Veteran’s Day. The soldiers of the 29th Infantry Division will bivouac in the Village that weekend and on Saturday they will depict the garrison life of soldiers during WWII. The mission of the 29th Infantry Division re-enactors is to authentically portray the wartime experience of our soldiers and to share that story with the public through interactions, drills, discussions and arms demonstrations. The 29th takes great pride in the authenticity of their uniforms, equipment and portrayals. The event will take place on Saturday, November 10th, 2018 from 10 am to 4 pm at Old Bardstown Village, corner of E. Broadway and Old Bloomfield Pike. Veterans will be admitted to the re-enactment free of charge. General public tickets for the event will be $5.00/adult & $3.00/children; admission to all of the Museum’s venues (including the re-enactment) is $12.00/adults, $6.00 ages 6-16 and free for children under the age of 5 years. Museum admission tickets are good for two consecutive days of touring. For questions, please call the Museum at 502.349.0291.
