Subject: Bourbon Salute to our Veterans

Message: September 21 - Our Military Museums welcome you for an evening of entertainment, food, bourbon tasting and military re-enactment. Focused on World War II, Louisville’s 29th infantry division re-enactors will be displaying and demonstrating weaponry, camp life, & basic military maneuvers of the WWII era. Actor/Musician Gary Vidito will perform “WWII: A Survivor’s Story” telling the harrowing story of courage, survival and the determination of that “Greatest Generation” to defend and preserve the freedom we enjoy today. Also, the Union Civil War re-enactors of the USS Louisville Union Navy City Class Ironclad will give tours of the main Civil War Museum, voted the best collection of artifacts of the Civil War in the Western Theatre and including the grand replica Confederate Submarine, H.L. Hunley.
